Darth Vader, the notorious Sith Lord and former Jedi Knight, is known for his ruthless demeanor and strict adherence to the rules. But even the Dark Lord of the Sith can’t escape the scourge of parking tickets.
In a recent interview, Vader expressed his frustration with the constant stream of parking tickets he receives. “It’s ridiculous,” he said, gesturing to a pile of tickets on his desk. “I mean, do they not realize who I am?”
Vader went on to explain that he often parks his TIE fighter in a reserved parking spot designated for Imperial personnel, only to return to find a ticket on his windshield. “I find it increasingly difficult to resist choking the life out of these worthless parking enforcement officers,” he grumbled.
When asked why he doesn’t just pay the fines and move on, Vader replied, “It’s the principle of the thing. My parking privileges should never be questioned in my empire.”
Vader tried to resolve his situation by talking to the Emperor directly about it. However, things didn’t go his way.
“The Emperor is forcing me to pay these to set a good example.” he said. “I find his stubbornness on this issue disturbing.”
Vader’s parking woes have become a significant focus of his time recently. “It seems like I spend half of my day dealing with stupid tickets,” he said. “This is a waste of my time.”
There appears to be no end in sight to Vader’s parking issues. But one thing is for sure: even the Dark Lord of the Sith can’t escape the long arm of the law.
“This is all Obi Wan’s fault,” he added.
