Hello, my fellow Americans. I’m Bernie Sanders. As we all know, America is the richest country in the world. We have more money, more resources, and more power than any other nation on Earth. And frankly, that has to stop.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Bernie, what the heck are you talking about? Being rich is a good thing, right?” Wrong. Being rich is a curse that has infected our country and caused rising economic prosperity and widespread employment. It’s time for that to change.
Think about it. We have billionaires like Elon Musk who work 120 hours a week to revolutionize space exploration, transportation, and clean energy, while creating hundreds of thousands of jobs. I mean, come on Elon, when are you going to start contributing your fair share? Do you think a 45% tax rate is enough? I think a tax rate of 100% would be a lot better. That would teach him a lesson! It’s time he took his wealth and job creation to a different country!
Being rich is not something to be proud of. It’s something to be ashamed of. We need to stop idolizing the wealthy and start valuing the things that really matter. We need to start investing in our people, our infrastructure, and our planet, instead of funneling all our resources into the pockets of the few. Look at Venezuela for example! Now there is a country who does not look to wealth to find happiness! We have a lot to learn from the success of Venezuela. Copying their ideas would be a step in the right direction.
In short, we need a revolution. We need to reject the false promises of wealth and success and embrace a new vision for America. We need to eliminate wealth in our society and we need to do it now, before it’s too late.
So let’s get to work, my fellow Americans. The road ahead will be long and difficult, but together, we can make it happen. Thank you, and God bless America.
