Astronomers Prove The Moon Is Not Flat

In a groundbreaking discovery, astronomers have finally put to rest the long-standing conspiracy theory that the Moon is flat. It turns out the Moon is actually a round, spherical object, just like scientists have been saying for centuries.

“We’re thrilled to finally have concrete proof that the Moon is not flat,” said lead astronomer John Ulbar. “It’s been a real thorn in our side, having to constantly defend against flat-Moon truthers.”

The study involved analyzing data collected by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, a spacecraft that has been orbiting the Moon since 2009. By studying images of the Moon’s surface and measuring its gravitational field, the researchers were able to confirm what most people already knew: the Moon is not flat.

But despite the overwhelming evidence, some flat-Moon theorists remain unconvinced. “This is just more propaganda from the so-called ‘scientific community,'” said flat-Moon activist Jonny Jones. “They’re in on it, man! They don’t want us to know the truth!”

Jones and other flat-Moon truthers have long claimed that the Moon is a flat disk rather than a sphere. They point to photos of the Moon that appear to show a flat surface, as well as the fact that the Moon always appears to be the same shape from Earth.

But the new study puts those claims to rest. “The Moon is round, just like every other planet and moon in our solar system,” said John Ulbar. “It’s not some special exception to the laws of physics.”

Despite the news, many people seem unfazed by the revelation. “I always knew the Moon wasn’t flat,” said amateur astronomer Tom Jones. “But honestly, what kind of moron would think the moon is flat? You can just look at it.”
