He didn&#8217;t seem to know anything about computers at all.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer says that the agent&#8217;s lack of knowledge was evident from the start of the call, with the agent struggling to even understand the nature of the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;He kept asking me to turn the computer on and off again,&#8221; said the customer. &#8220;I mean, that&#8217;s basic stuff. I already did that three times.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The situation only got worse from there, with the agent fumbling around and offering up solutions that were clearly not going to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;He suggested that I try unplugging the computer for 30 seconds and plugging it back in,&#8221; said the customer. &#8220;I mean, come on \u2013 that&#8217;s not going to fix anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer&#8217;s experience is not unique, with many others reporting similar frustrations when dealing with tech support agents who seem to have no idea what they&#8217;re doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s ridiculous,&#8221; another customer complained. &#8220;I had a problem with an internet outage and the guy told me to uninstall my microphone drivers. When that didn&#8217;t work he told me to take a picture of my keyboard and send it to him. I was like, what the hell is wrong with this guy? &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defending its agents, a spokesperson for the company released a statement saying: &#8220;We take customer satisfaction very seriously.
