In a stunning display of incompetence, a tech support agent was found to be utterly clueless when it came to fixing even the simplest of computer problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I couldn’t believe it,” said one customer, who asked to remain anonymous. “I was expecting a quick and easy fix, but this guy was completely useless. He didn’t seem to know anything about computers at all.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The customer says that the agent’s lack of knowledge was evident from the start of the call, with the agent struggling to even understand the nature of the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“He kept asking me to turn the computer on and off again,” said the customer. “I mean, that’s basic stuff. I already did that three times.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The situation only got worse from there, with the agent fumbling around and offering up solutions that were clearly not going to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“He suggested that I try unplugging the computer for 30 seconds and plugging it back in,” said the customer. “I mean, come on \u2013 that’s not going to fix anything.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The customer’s experience is not unique, with many others reporting similar frustrations when dealing with tech support agents who seem to have no idea what they’re doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It’s ridiculous,” another customer complained. “I had a problem with an internet outage and the guy told me to uninstall my microphone drivers. When that didn’t work he told me to take a picture of my keyboard and send it to him. I was like, what the hell is wrong with this guy? “<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Defending its agents, a spokesperson for the company released a statement saying: “We take customer satisfaction very seriously. Our agents are required to have a least two hours of experience.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, many customers remain skeptical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It’s clear that something needs to change,” said the customer. “These tech support agents are beyond useless.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
